Sarcoidosis Treatment – 5 Ways To Treat Sarcoid Naturally

Published by Elizabeth at 11:32 pm under Complications of mono

Sarcoidosis can be a debilitating illness that causes recurrent inflammation in the body. Areas affected can include the lymph glands, lungs, liver, skin, heart, brain and eyes. Effective sarcoidosis treatment is still in the early stages. The trigger for sarcoidosis is still unknown. It is believed that a bacteria or virus (like Epstein Barr virus) may play a role in its developement.

The standard sarcoidosis treatment is the use of corticosteroids to quell the inflammation and ease symptoms. Unfortunately the use of steroids comes at a high price – suppressed immunity, high blood pressure, liver damage and potentially cancer.

The good news is that the ground breaking work of a medical doctor – Dr Jani Hajjri from Ohio, has revealed that natural therapies can play an important role in successful, long term sarcoidosis treatment. Dr Hajjri’s sarcoid treatment plan is called the “Aden Protocol” and has been based on 22 years of research and use in his patients. The protocol boasts a 82% success rate with little or no adverse side effects.

So why is the Aden Protocol so successful in treating sarcoid?

1) Unlike corticosteroids which just cover up the symptoms, the Aden protocol targets why this disease has taken hold on the body. Unbalanced immunity caused by triggers like bacterial or viral infections, dust, irritants and body toxicity, is addressed.

2) Anti-inflammatory nutrients, herbs and foods quell inflammation and pain without the nasty side effects of conventional drugs.

3) The natural approach to sarcoidosis treatment works on breaking down granulomas or clumps of immune cells with the use of enzymes, essential oils and massage.

4) The use of a high anti-oxidant intake protects the body from further damage.

5) The protocol has been tested in thousands of patients in over 32 countries. Testing and twigging of the program translates to a more effective recovery.

If you or a loved one are suffering from the pain and discomfort of sarcoid then natural therapies have a lot to offer you.  For further information on the latest break through information on natural sarcoidosis treatment please refer to the Aden Protocol which is now available in e-book form.

I have just been diagnosed with sarcoidosis and my doctor wants to start me on steroids. I do not want to be on these medications. I am a nurse and a teacher and I need to be alert and in good shape. Steroids make me very, very depressed. I would like more information on the Aden Protocol, please.

    Hi Barbara,
Thanks for your post. Yes steroids can have nasty side effects like depression, weight gain and immune suppression. The beauty of the natural therapies used in the Aden protocol is that they have no adverse long time side effects. The author of the Aden Protocol e-book, Danielle May offers a free booklet explaining more about the science behind the protocol. Here’s her link:

I have been a stage 3 sarcoid suffer for 10 years. I have been off of predisone for 9 weeks. I feel my symtoms have seemed to worsen since coming off the predisone. I am an active person. I have not gained weight during the time of predison use. Actually lost weight but do exercise daily. I purchase Aden Protocol have and read it. I have comprehend some of the material. I do not want to go back on predisone. What steps should I take to totally comprehend what I am to do in implementing the protocol? Should I inform my pulmonary specialist what I may be attempting?

    Hi Roger,
Thanks for your post. Sorry you have been suffering with sarcoid for so long. It can be a very frustrating and worrying time.

Predisone dampens your immune response to quell inflammation. Although it can help in the short term it is not recommended in the long term as it has nasty side effects like bone thinning, reduced immunity, fluid retention and weight gain. I would start off with the diet recommended in the Aden protocol. Adding the enzymes and nutrients can be done as you adjust to the diet.

It would be a good idea to inform your specialist however they may not be familiar with natural treatments for sarcoid. A holistic doctor or naturopath is usually better informed. The author of the Aden Protocol e-book Danielle May is a good source of information if you need more support.
