Glandular Fever Symptoms – Depression and Anxiety
Common glandular fever symptoms are depression and anxiety, especially when the illness lingers. After weeks or months of feeling ill, being confined to the home, having reduced exercise and a limited social life, glandular fever symptoms of anxiety and depression can take their toll.
Leanne, a chronic GF sufferer came to see me recently. She looked awful – she had dark rings around her eyes and a dull, lifeless expression. She felt unmotivated, disinterested in life and had no enthusiasm for her home business, which she was struggling to run part time. She told me she had been feeling anxious and worried for months, but it now seemed to have settled into a depression that she could not shake.
I told Leanne it was time to start looking after herself, doing simple things like a daily half hour walk, a daily dose of sunshine and lots of pure water and good food. I asked her to burn some essential oils of lavender, bergamot and lemon, and to get herself to bed early. I also gave her some essential B vitamins and Magnesium to nourish her adrenal glands and help her glandular fever symptoms of fatigue and depression. Zinc and vitamin C were prescribed to boost her immune system and get the upper hand on the virus.
After only a month, the results were astounding. Leanne walked into my clinic as a new woman – tall and proud. She looked fantastic – clear skin, bright eyes and a stylish new hair colour. She spoke enthusiastically and told me how well she felt – no more lingering glandular fever symptoms of fatigue, malaise or dark thoughts. This was a lady who had gone from the depths of despair to a new, exciting lease on life.
